Operational Manager (Aggregates and Concrete) – Madeira

Secil is a leading industrial group whose activity focuses on the production and marketing of cement, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, mortars, and hydraulic lime.

We are looking to incorporate an Operational Manager (Aggregates and Concrete) into Secil Brimade and Secil Beto Madeira, who will assume the following responsibilities:

• Ensure the execution of the Aggregates and Concrete operational plans, ensuring compliance with established production, quality, and cost objectives;

• Coordinate and optimize Aggregates and Concrete operations, including the extraction, transport, and processing of aggregates and the production of concrete, ensuring high levels of operational efficiency;

• Plan and manage the human resources, machinery, and productive means assigned to the operations, maximizing their availability, productivity, and operational reliability;

• Supervise operational performance through the monitoring of production, cost, consumption, and efficiency indicators, promoting the necessary actions to achieve the defined objectives;

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to process optimization, cost reduction, and improvement of the overall performance of the operation;

• Participate in investment projects, equipment modernization, and the implementation of new technologies, supporting the continuous development and competitiveness of the operations;

• Promote the use of digital management and monitoring tools, favoring more efficient and data-driven decision-making;

• Ensure compliance with legislation regarding Health and Safety, Environment, and Licenses applicable to the activities, promoting a solid preventive culture as a fundamental value of the organization.

• Higher education in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent training;

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in supervision or operational management roles, preferably in the areas of aggregates, concrete, or similar industry, including team coordination, machinery management, and supervision of productive activities;

• Experience in the management and maintenance of machinery and equipment, with knowledge in the area of mechanical maintenance;

• Experience in the analysis of operational indicators (KPIs) and in the implementation of performance improvement initiatives;

• Proficiency in IT tools for operational management and data analysis;

• Good level of English (preferred);

• Availability to work in Madeira.
