What we're looking for

Higher education or technical-professional training in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or a relevant area;
Consolidated experience in industrial mechanical maintenance and in the supervision/leadership of maintenance teams;
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, lubrication, and failure diagnosis;
Ability to interpret technical drawings and experience in the management and execution of Work Orders;
Solid knowledge of industrial safety and lockout procedures;
Strong leadership capacity on the ground, team development, communication, and decision-making;
Organized, responsible, and safety-oriented profile, with technical rigor, continuous improvement, and failure prevention;

Nice to have

Experience with industrial equipment such as furnaces, mills, crushers, conveyors, elevators, fans, pumps, gearboxes, filters, compressors, bagging machines, and palletizers will be valued.

The role

At Secil, we are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Outão Factory. We are looking for someone with a strong presence on the ground, capable of combining team leadership and technical knowledge, contributing to safe, efficient maintenance and to the reliability and availability of equipment.

What you'll do

Supervise preventive, corrective, and emergency mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, deadline, and cost standards;
Lead, monitor, and develop the maintenance team, promoting their technical training, autonomy, and accountability;
Ensure compliance with maintenance plans and work scheduling, distributing activities and ensuring the proper use of resources;
Monitor the diagnosis and resolution of failures and breakdowns, participating in the analysis of their causes and the implementation of corrective actions;
Guarantee the technical quality of interventions, monitoring equipment performance and acting on any deviations or recurrences;
Identify and implement improvement opportunities in preventive plans, work methods, procedures, and maintenance organization;
Monitor maintenance indicators and ensure the quality of the recording and closing of Work Orders and their respective history;
Coordinate with Maintenance Planning, Inspection, Reliability, Production, and Engineering, also coordinating work performed by external service providers.
