Mechanical Maintenance Operator (M/F) - Outão Cement Plant

Do you like mechanics and want to work with large-scale industrial equipment?

Whether you are starting your career or already have experience in maintenance, we are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Operators to reinforce our teams in Maceira and Pataias.

Here, maintenance is not just repairing when something breaks.
The goal is to know the equipment, anticipate problems, and ensure they continue to operate safely and reliably.

You will work with equipment such as kilns, mills, crushers, conveyors, and fans and, on a daily basis:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work;

• Inspect equipment and identify anomalies or needs for intervention;

• Work with components such as bearings, housings, belts, couplings, and lubrication systems;

• Participate in hydraulics, pneumatics, alignments, and measurements work;

• Test equipment after interventions and help identify the causes of breakdowns.

• 12th grade in a technical-professional course in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Locksmithing, Mechatronics, or similar;

• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and technical drawing reading;

• A liking for practical work and a willingness to learn;

• Commitment to safety;

• Availability for [shifts / schedule + on-call duty];

• Industrial experience and knowledge of welding, hydraulics, or pneumatics are valued, but not mandatory;

• Legal eligibility to work in Portugal, under current legislation.

Never worked in the cement industry? It's not a problem. You will have guidance from day one by experienced professionals, who will help you get to know the equipment, the process, and the reality of the plant.
