1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use PortugalJobs.io ("the Service"). The operator is identified in the Legal Notice. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What PortugalJobs.io does

PortugalJobs.io helps people find jobs in Portugal. We collect adverts that employers and recruitment platforms publish on their own websites, organise them, and link to the original advert. Using PortugalJobs.io is free for jobseekers.

3. Who owns the adverts

Job adverts, company names, logos and trade marks shown on PortugalJobs.io belong to the employers, recruiters or other rights holders who published them. We do not claim ownership of them.

4. Accuracy of adverts

Adverts come from external sources, so we cannot guarantee that an advert is complete, accurate or still open. Employers can change or close a role without notice. Always check the details on the employer's own website before you apply or rely on them.

Visa, sponsorship and relocation information is our assessment of what an advert or employer states. It is not immigration or legal advice: confirm your situation with the employer and the official authorities.

5. Applying for jobs

PortugalJobs.io is not the employer and is not a recruitment agency. We are not involved in hiring decisions or employment contracts. Applications are made on the employer's or recruitment platform's website, under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Using the Service

You may use PortugalJobs.io to find jobs and employers for your own personal or internal business purposes. You must not:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or abusive
• try to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
• copy, republish or redistribute adverts from PortugalJobs.io in bulk
• use automated tools to access PortugalJobs.io in a way that harms its performance or availability
• interfere with the operation or security of the Service

8. Our content

We own the Service itself: its software, design, database, original text and branding. You may not reproduce or distribute them without our permission. This does not cover the adverts, logos and marks that come from third parties.

9. Corrections and removal

If you are a rights holder, or you are named in an advert, and believe something on PortugalJobs.io should be corrected or removed, email hello@spainjobs.io with the page address and what needs to change. We will review your request and act promptly.

10. Our liability

We provide the Service with reasonable care, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any advert is accurate or available. We are not responsible for employers' or recruitment platforms' websites, adverts or hiring decisions.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where the law does not allow it, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise; if you are a consumer, you can also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the Service changes. The updated terms apply from the date shown at the top of this page.
