We are looking for a proactive and experienced Workshop Manager / Senior Mechanic to manage the maintenance business unit at our workshop in Lisbon. You will have team leadership responsibilities, you will ensure that all vehicles are ready according to our standards, you will be responsible for the depot's maintenance P&L, and you will coordinate a team of RFAs—setting repair priorities, managing spare parts and stock, and maintaining budget control—always ensuring high standards of quality and safety. You will maintain a hands-on posture, performing repairs yourself when the workload requires it.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, including schedule planning, task distribution, and performance evaluations.
• Provide practical guidance and training to ensure that RFAs and Interns develop their technical skills and comply with company standards.
• Promote a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Plan, prioritize, and supervise campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Inspect completed works to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for complex or escalated technical issues, and perform repairs yourself when the workload requires it.
• Coordinate the execution of vehicle interventions with external suppliers and regional teams.
• Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring the necessary availability for operations.
• Coordinate with external suppliers for repairs outside our internal scope and for the procurement of spare parts; negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements.
• Ensure an accurate spare parts inventory—consumption flows, reception, and stock counts.
• Track and report workshop performance metrics, including fleet availability, repair times, and budget compliance.
• Propose process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations.
• Perform regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
