Maintenance Technician

Main responsibilities and tasks
Assistance in fault diagnosis, changes in equipment programming with a view to quality improvements and downtime reduction, backup management.

1. • Diagnose and repair faults in equipment (Corrective and Preventive Maintenance);
   • Perform fault registration, according to the methodology followed by GAP;
   • Perform checks and inspections of factory equipment and tools, according to maintenance needs (Preventive Maintenance);
   • Implement actions related to your area, as provided for in the GAP Safety Plan, according to management guidelines;
   • Participate in the installation and startup of equipment, when requested;
   • Participate in the construction and/or improvement of equipment to improve productive capacity, whenever requested.

Qualifications
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Ideally 12th grade of schooling.

Experience:
With the mentioned level of Training and 5 years of professional experience in similar roles.

Technical and behavioral competencies

• Experience in Siemens Automata (PLCs) fault identification and minor changes;
• Experience in working at heights;
• Good knowledge of low voltage electricity. Medium voltage (certified) is preferred;
• Experience in hydraulic schemes and equipment (e.g., logic and proportional);
• Experience in pneumatic schemes and equipment;
• Computer knowledge from a user perspective (Windows Environment);
• Knowledge of HSE standards, including explosive atmospheres;
• Visual and motor aptitude is essential
