skills
higher education in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory);
consolidated experience between 3 to 5 years in similar roles, in production management and team leadership in an industrial environment;
interpretation and analysis of technical drawings;
knowledge of 3D modeling and CAD/CAM;
knowledge of CNC programming (valued);
experience in stock control and management in a manufacturing context (valued);
advanced English;
high leadership and people management capacity;
practical sense, strong orientation towards problem-solving and decision-making capacity;
organization, rigor and excellent resource planning capacity;
adaptability and strategic vision for operational transition processes.
The role
our client is a leading multinational in the heavy machinery sector, which intends to strengthen its structure with a production manager (m/f/x).
What you'll do
key responsibilities
this professional will report to management and will have the following main responsibilities:
- operational and production management: plan, coordinate and optimize all stages of the production process, ensuring efficiency levels, delivery deadlines and required quality standards;
- team leadership: lead, organize and motivate a team composed of approximately 60 to 70 production operators, promoting individual development, a good working environment and compliance with occupational safety standards;
- stock and warehouse management: supervise and manage stocks of raw materials, components and finished products, ensuring the correct supply of the production line through Primavera software;
- technical and project support: interpret and analyze detailed technical drawings with the support of Inventor software, ensuring rigor in the execution of complex structures and mechanisms;
- machining monitoring: supervise and support industrial processes involving the programming and operation of CNC machines.
