IT Project Manager

We are looking for a person with experience in IT Project Management to join a project with an estimated duration of 8 months, within the context of a solid, leading institution in the specialized credit sector in Portugal.

The selected person will be responsible for the global management of strategic projects in the information technology area focused on the credit business, following the entire life cycle of the initiatives until their completion.

Define the objectives and scope of projects, developing the respective work plans, schedules, budgets, and allocation of necessary resources;
Coordinate and monitor all phases of project execution, ensuring compliance with client requirements, deadlines, budgets, and defined quality standards;
Lead and manage the team assigned to the project, defining roles and responsibilities and promoting results-oriented alignment;
Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparent, effective communication and the management of any conflicts;
Monitor and report project progress to the heads of the involved areas;
Identify and anticipate risks or constraints, establishing priorities and proposing mitigation plans and corrective actions;
Define and monitor relevant KPIs for the evaluation of project success, using dashboards and monitoring reports;
Articulate with business teams, product managers, IT technical teams, and external service providers, promoting efficient cooperation.

Proven experience in Project Management in the Information Technology area;
Previous experience or consolidated knowledge in the banking/financial sector, with a focus on the credit sector;
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models);
Demonstrated ability in project planning, budget control, risk management, and KPI definition;
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team coordination ability;
High autonomy, problem-solving capacity, and ease of integration into dynamic environments;
Immediate availability to start duties.
