What we're looking for
skills
higher education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering;
minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles in the automotive sector (preferred);
solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial automation systems, preferably in the stamping area;
practical experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance;
knowledge of SAP PM;
high leadership and people management capacity;
ease of communication with different hierarchical levels, both internal and external to the organization;
practical sense, strong orientation towards problem-solving, and decision-making capacity;
resilience and ability to work under pressure.
The role
our client is a leading multinational in the automotive sector that, as part of its growth, intends to strengthen its team with a stamping maintenance coordinator.
What you'll do
key responsibilities
reporting to the maintenance director, this professional will have the following main responsibilities:
- coordinate and supervise the work carried out by the maintenance technician team in the stamping area;
- ensure the preventive, corrective, and curative maintenance of the equipment;
- guarantee the training/development of the entire team;
- manage and monitor maintenance performance indicators;
- act upon preventive plans and equipment in order to improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of the resources;
- follow up on subcontracted work and contacts with suppliers to ensure the materials and services necessary for the maintenance activity;
- suggest improvement actions in order to increase process efficiency;
- know the policy, procedures, instructions, and rules of the management system and apply them in the performance of the activity;
- contribute to the improvement of the company's quality, environment, and safety.
