Randstad is recruiting a Quality Inspector Operator for Exide Technologies, in Castanheira do Ribatejo.
Exide Technologies is a multinational company, a global supplier of stored electrical energy solutions for the automotive and industrial markets. In Portugal, it has approximately 500 workers.

• key responsibilities

  • Perform internal process and product audits, according to the plan and using the available documentation for this purpose.
  • Identify non-conformities and communicate them to the respective departments.
  • Monitor the implementation of containment and corrective actions for the non-conformities found.
  • Collaborate with production in the identification and resolution analysis of non-conformities (rejections and scrap).
  • Ensure the identification and segregation of non-conforming material according to internal rules.
  • Participate in CI/8D/PFMEA/5S groups.
  • Perform TDA for the analysis of batteries rejected at all process stages.
  • Perform finished product TDA to verify product and customer characteristics.
  • Support the component receiving process.
  • Participate in 100% battery inspection, if it is a specific customer requirement.
  • Analyze rejected material (scrap analysis).
  • Support the chemical laboratory in product analysis by performing chemical tests.
  • Verify pallets during picking operations in coordination with the logistics team.
  • Stop production and suspend product shipments when product quality/service to the customer is at risk or in any serious failure that goes against the implemented quality system.
  • Reject materials that jeopardize product quality.
  • Release rejected products, according to the instructions of your hierarchical superior.

  • 12th grade of schooling (mandatory);
  
  
  • availability for shifts and rotating days off (mandatory);
  
  
  • experience in a production line (preferred);
