What you'll do

This internship is part of the NOS Sustainability Directorate and Area and focuses on the assessment of risks and opportunities related to nature and biodiversity. You will work with recognized international methodologies, such as the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), and support the integration of these themes into the company's cross-functional risk management processes.

Throughout the internship, you will map NOS's activities and value chain (network, data centers, buildings, fleet, and suppliers), help prioritize critical themes, and create practical outputs for the business: risk and opportunity maps, recommendations, and proposed indicators, in coordination with various areas of the company.

You will analyze NOS's dependencies and impacts on nature and biodiversity, using frameworks such as TNFD and other recognized methodologies.
You will map activities and value chain elements (network, data centers, buildings, fleet, and suppliers), identifying where the greatest risks and opportunities for NOS exist.
You will support the construction of a nature-related risk and opportunity map, proposing simple and practical ways to integrate it into corporate risk management.
You will transform technical information into clear outputs for the business (mappings, risk/opportunity matrices, recommendations, and indicators), facilitating decision-making for those managing risk.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Sustainability, Network, Operations, Procurement, among others), ensuring alignment between the sustainability strategy and daily operations.
You will prepare documents and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint to support management decision-making and internal communication regarding nature and biodiversity.
You will contribute with a critical spirit and autonomy to continuously improve NOS's approach to nature risks, biodiversity opportunities, and materiality themes.
