What we're looking for

  • Higher academic education in areas with a high predominance of data science, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Information Management, preferably with a Master's or Post-graduate degree in Actuarial Science or Risk Management;
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Risk Management, specifically in the assessment of financial and insurance risks;
  • Knowledge of the legal regime for access to and exercise of the insurance activity, specifically Solvency II requirements;
  • Actuarial knowledge of liability assessment and risk and capital assessment models;

The role

The Ageas Portugal Group is recruiting for the Risk / Solvency and Capital Management: area.

What you'll do

  • Quarterly calculation and reporting of the Solvency position of the Ageas Portugal Group entities (individual and consolidated);
  • Sensitivity analyses of the main risks in exposure;
  • Execution of the annual Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) exercise;
  • Formulation of Risk opinions and recommendations to Management on topics related to risk management (pricing and reserve adequacy, reinsurance treaties, investment strategy, etc).

We are looking for professionals with the following profile

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Management skills (organization, time and priority management, autonomy and initiative, critical analysis);
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word) and programming knowledge (VBA, RStudio or Python);
  • Solid knowledge of English, spoken and written.
