The role

We are looking for a Bio-waste and Municipal Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our unit, ensuring profitability, safety, legal compliance, and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work on:

Operational Leadership: Lead the daily operations of the unit, ensuring maximum profitability, safety, compliance, and efficiency;
Strategy and Team Management: Prepare and implement integrated management strategies for bio-waste flows, managing operational, commercial, and administrative teams, as well as multidisciplinary projects;
Safety Culture: Implement and maintain an excellent safety culture and ensure scrupulous compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements;
Optimization and Development: Optimize operational costs and profitability and develop new business, creating opportunities for synergies between operations.

Essential Skills

Leadership: Proven ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams, clear and inspiring communication, assertive decision-making, and strategic vision/systems thinking;
Safety: Total commitment to occupational health and safety, experience in implementing safety cultures, knowledge of labor/safety legislation, and the ability to identify/mitigate operational risks;
Operational Skills: Efficient management of resources (human, equipment, and financial), technical knowledge in waste treatment processes, environmental legal compliance, and an orientation toward continuous improvement;
Commercial and Financial Vision: Negotiation skills, client management, budget preparation, financial analysis, and a constant focus on business profitability and efficiency.
