What we're looking for

Education Requirements:
• Degree/Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent
• Secondary/vocational education in a technical area (mechanics, automotive, or equivalent)
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Minimum of one year of experience in a workshop environment (preferential factor, not eliminatory)
• A liking for workshop management
• Organization
• Communication
• Dynamism
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure
• Good ability to work with IT tools/applications
• Driver's License (category B)

The role

Suma, a waste collection company, intends to reinforce its structure by hiring a professional for the Maintenance Area.

What you'll do

Job Description:
• Management of corrective and preventive maintenance (mixed office/workshop work):
o Opening, updating, and closing of Work Orders (WO) in SAP
o Assignment of WOs to the Workshop teams and monitoring and controlling their status
o Technical analysis of breakdowns (diagnostic support) and repairs in progress
o Management of External Interventions (scheduling, monitoring with suppliers, completion)
• Management of Mandatory Legal Inspections (scheduling, monitoring deadlines, issuance and filing of certificates)
• Support in identifying and requesting material from the Warehouse, whether for WOs or other Workshop needs.
• Monitoring of aspects related to occupational health and safety, waste management, and the environment of the Workshop and its employees
• Claims Management: registering motor vehicle claims in the company's own database

How you'll work

Schedules: Tue to Fri 11am-8pm / Sat 9am-6pm. Off on Sunday and Monday. Occasional work on certain holidays of the year, duly remunerated as holiday work.

Location: Polima - São Domingos de Rana (occasional travel/occasional work at other SUMA sites in the Greater Lisbon area)
