Maintenance Technician (M/F/D) - Bragança

• Educational qualifications at the secondary school level;
• Light vehicle driver's license (mandatory);

• Two years of experience as a wastewater operator (preferred);

The company plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuity of these essential services, where the daily work of its technical teams is decisive for the protection of natural resources and the safeguarding of public health.

Reporting directly to the Service Provision Contract Management, the professional to be recruited will have as their main responsibility to carry out operation interventions in wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations in the municipalities of Bragança, Vinhais, or Torre de Moncorvo, namely:

• Operate the machinery and equipment of the WWTPs and pumping stations and perform control, monitoring, and cleaning, in accordance with the technical standards and established procedures;
• Perform simple control operations for the maintenance and conservation of equipment and facilities;
• Carry out the recording and reporting of operations performed, including occurrences, notifications, and others, informing of all anomalous situations detected during the development of the work;
• Execute operation routines, including sensory inspection of equipment, at visual, auditory, temperature, and odor levels;
• Perform the collection, identification, and transport of water samples, in the different treatment phases, for subsequent analysis, in accordance with the defined instructions;
• Control the exact dosages and evaluate the stock levels of the products necessary for wastewater treatment, recording the daily levels consumed, informing superiors of the need to make the respective requisitions in accordance with the established standards;
• Collaborate in the loading and unloading of materials, reagents, and waste.

• Knowledge of the functioning of a WWTP (knowledge of the types, processes, and products of wastewater treatment);
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proactive attitude in problem-solving, revealing dynamism, availability, and initiative;
• Motivation, autonomy, and sense of responsibility;
• Computer skills from a user perspective;
• Availability to travel within the district of Bragança;
• Availability to perform overtime work (extra hours).
