The role

Randstad is recruiting for an international leading company in the logistics and port operations sector, responsible for the management of global strategic infrastructures. As part of its growth plan and the optimization of its facilities in the Sines region, it is looking to integrate a Facilities Specialist.

Mission: Manage all daily maintenance activities associated with the facilities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of the infrastructures and ensuring that spaces are safe, functional, and optimized, ensuring compliance with sustainability practices and the reduction of operational costs.

What you'll do

key responsibilities
- Civil Infrastructure Management: Planning and coordination of the execution of all necessary maintenance work on civil infrastructure (Land and Water), ensuring strict compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards;
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Implement routines and procedures for safety, inspection, and preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance in the facilities;
- Subcontractor Management: Manage external service providers and ensure rigorous monitoring of contracts;
- Optimization and Sustainability: Promote the optimization of operational costs, aligning building management with the company's strategic sustainability and efficiency objectives.
