Area Maintenance Manager - Portugal Continental (m/f)

We are looking for an Area Maintenance Manager for the Portugal Continental area to join and report to the Maintenance Directorate;

• Implement the national maintenance strategy (preventive, corrective, and predictive) for all hotel units;
• Coordinate and support the various maintenance teams and external suppliers, in collaboration with the Regional Maintenance Coordinators;
• Ensure the implementation and monitoring of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans;
• Guarantee the correct functioning of special installations (HVAC, electricity, hydraulic network, gas network, elevators, fire safety systems,...);
• Accompany internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with legal and safety obligations;
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Directorate in the preparation of the maintenance budget. Manage and control its execution;
• Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers and suppliers;
• Analyze indicators, optimize processes, and guarantee large-scale operational efficiency;
• Identify structural needs and propose improvements, modernizations, and sustainable solutions, and optimize the installation aiming for energy efficiency;
• Collaborate with the Regional Maintenance Coordinators in the production of technical and financial reports for the Maintenance Directorate;
• Act as a technical point of contact in critical situations or emergencies;
• Guarantee close collaboration between maintenance operations and hotel operations.

• Coordination, leadership, and priority management skills in different geographical contexts;
• Solid knowledge in the HVAC, electricity, hydraulics, and fire safety systems sectors;
• Planning and execution of maintenance plans;
• Contract management and cost control;
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate and support teams;
• Organized, analytical, and results-oriented profile;
• Good communication and ease of interpersonal relationships;
• Decision-making capacity and management of multiple challenges simultaneously.

• Availability for frequent travel;
• Driver's license.
