Requirements

What we're looking for

- Higher education in Engineering, preferably in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, or similar;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, technical maintenance, or operational management of industrial infrastructures;
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams;
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and telemanagement;
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and measurement and control systems;
- Experience in industrial environments, the water sector, environment, energy, infrastructure, or technical buildings;
- Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC, or equivalents);
- OE/OET and DGEG registration (valued);
- Driver's license and availability for travel within the national territory;
- Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy;
- Good communication and customer orientation;
- Critical spirit, technical rigor, and focus on results.

The role

Contract Manager - Automation & Instrumentation (M/F/D) - Lisbon

Mota-Engil ATIV provides management and maintenance services for its Clients' physical assets throughout the different stages of their life cycle, integrating solutions for the optimization of their operational performance and cost optimization, as well as their energy, water, and carbon efficiency.

Reporting directly to the respective Production Management, the professional to be recruited shall ensure the management of Automation and Instrumentation contracts, namely contractual management, operations management, and customer service, with the following responsibilities being highlighted:

What you'll do

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise automation and instrumentation activities, ensuring compliance with the respective budget, Specifications, and Execution Project;
- Coordinate internal and external technical teams (operators and service providers), ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures;
- Manage interventions in field instrumentation, namely sensors, transmitters, analyzers, flowmeters, actuators, control systems, or similar;
- Guarantee the availability of spare parts, materials, equipment, and licenses necessary for operation;
- Ensure the recording, analysis, and reporting of activities performed, including technical reports, certificates, and remaining contractual documentation;
- Support digitalization projects, systems integration, remote monitoring, telemanagement, and evolution towards data-based operating models;
- Support the preparation of budgets and the commercial activity of the area.
