What we're looking for

- Relevant experience in plastic extrusion processes (Mandatory requirement)

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial management / production roles

Nice to have

- Higher education in Engineering (preferably Polymers, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar)

The role

A Job&Talent powered by Multitempo is recruiting a Production Manager for a leading company in the textile sector, located in Esmoriz, Ovar.

  • Direct integration into a solid and growing company, with strong market recognition

  • Employment Contract - fixed term - 12 months, renewable

  • Base salary: between EUR 1500 and 2000, to be evaluated based on experience and basic training

  • Meal Allowance EUR 10.46/actual working day, paid via Meal Card

  • Health insurance after the probationary period (30 days)

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week distributed from Monday to Friday in 8h daily, 9h-13h/14h-18h.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Industrial Management, this professional will be responsible for leading and optimizing the entire production operation, ensuring high levels of efficiency, quality, and competitiveness.

Functions

- Coordinate and supervise production operations

- Ensure compliance with production plans

- Implement, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Lead production teams across shifts, promoting a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement

- Promote industrial digitalization and the integration of Industry 4.0 and AI solutions
