Requirements

What we're looking for

Proven experience in network administration and server infrastructure in a business environment;
Hands-on experience with pfSense or other equivalent firewalls (firewall configuration and administration) and NAT, VPN, and IDS/IPS concepts;
Hands-on experience with hypervisors, including the creation and management of VMs and virtual networks;
Solid knowledge of VLANs, segmentation, DMZ, TCP/IP, routing, and subnetting;
Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical interlocutors;

Nice to have

Degree in Computer Networks (desirable) or equivalent training and professional experience;
Experience with backup and business continuity (RTO/RPO), such as Proxmox Backup Server or equivalent, will be an advantage;

Languages

Language Skills: Portuguese and English.

The role

We are looking for an experienced professional in network and server administration.
We intend to integrate someone who will lead the evolution of our infrastructure during a moment of expansion, taking responsibility for technological decisions critical to the business.

What you'll do

Design and implement network segmentation (VLANs, DMZ, internal firewall) between existing servers, separating internet-exposed workloads from internal workloads.
Strengthen and maintain the configuration of the perimeter firewall (pfSense) and UniFi network equipment, including segmentation rules, VPN, and intrusion detection (IDS/IPS).
Implement and manage hypervisors (Proxmox or equivalent), including the design of virtual networks and the correct assignment of VLANs per virtual machine.
Design the network architecture for the company's different hubs/offices as the company expands and participate in defining technical network and infrastructure policies.
Continuous monitoring of networks and servers, with proactive problem detection.
Configure and maintain the server backup strategy.
Collaborate in the definition, documentation, and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Document architecture, configurations, and procedures clearly, so that knowledge does not depend on a single person.
Evaluate and propose equipment and architecture evolutions as the company grows.
