Practical experience (academic, personal, or internship) with at least one EDA tool (e.g., KiCad, Altium Designer), having already designed schematics and performed layout for at least one board, ideally manufactured and tested;
Ability to read and interpret datasheets and reference schematics;
A liking for laboratory work and a desire to learn hardware measurement and validation;
Nice to have

The role
We are looking for a Junior PCB Development Engineer to join our electronics team. This is an entry-level position, designed for those who have recently completed university training and want to develop themselves in electronics design, within a real and demanding context: flight systems for UAVs, where electromagnetic interference, weight, vibration, and reliability condition every design decision. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, with increasing autonomy as you gain experience, and in collaboration with the firmware, wiring, and mechanical teams.
What you'll do
Design electrical circuits and schematics, with clear and organized documentation;
Perform multilayer PCB layout of increasing complexity: component placement, routing, ground planes, and design rule checks (DRC);
Create and maintain component libraries: symbols, footprints, and 3D models, with careful validation against datasheets;
Prepare manufacturing and assembly data and manage communication with manufacturers;
Participate in the bring-up and validation of prototypes in the laboratory: measurements with multimeter, oscilloscope, and logic analyzer, identification of assembly and design errors;
Support testing and investigation of typical UAV problems, such as switching converter interference on magnetometers, GNSS reception degradation, and power supply noise, learning mitigation techniques with the team;
Participate in schematic and layout reviews, incorporating feedback and documenting lessons learned.
