Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Higher education in Hotel Management, Tourism or a similar area;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in 5-star units or the luxury segment;
  • Strong leadership, team management and decision-making skills;
  • High orientation towards the customer, quality and results;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English;
  • Availability of schedules, namely weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

  • Fluency in English and Spanish and knowledge of the French language
  • Consolidated experience in luxury affiliations (Relais & Châteaux, Leading Hotels of the World, Forbes Travel Guide, Michelin Keys, etc)

The Yeatman is a luxurious wine hotel, with wonderful views over the City of Porto and the Douro River, being considered a distinctive landmark in the global luxury hotel landscape.

We are looking for an Accommodation Director (M/F/D) who guarantees a pleasant and unforgettable visit for our guests.

What you'll do

  • Lead and supervise the operations of the Reception, Housekeeping, Guest Relations and SPA departments;
  • Ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction, in accordance with the hotel's standards;
  • Ensure operational excellence and the implementation of procedures and best practices;
  • Manage, develop and motivate teams, promoting a high-performance culture;
  • Monitor performance indicators, service quality and customer satisfaction;
  • Manage complaints and critical situations, ensuring an efficient and customer-oriented resolution;
  • Control budgets, operational costs and resources allocated to the accommodation area;
  • Work in close collaboration with the other departments to ensure an integrated and differentiating experience for guests.
