The role
About L Hotel Fátima: The Lakhani Group (TLG) is opening L Hotel Fátima on 12 October 2026, and we are building our founding team.
The Porter / General Assistant supports guests and every department with luggage, deliveries and day-to-day tasks around the hotel. It is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone practical and helpful. Shift: day shift, rotating, including weekends. Reports to: Hotel Manager.
What you'll do
• Welcome arriving guests and groups, and carry luggage to and from rooms
• Store luggage and manage the luggage room
• Receive and move deliveries (linen, supplies, food) to the right department
• Carry out minor maintenance and set-up tasks, and report larger issues
• Support Housekeeping and Breakfast teams at busy times
• Keep the entrance, lobby and outside areas tidy
