Director of F&B - Six Senses Douro Valley

Six Senses is recruiting an F&B Director to join our team in the award-winning Douro Valley!

Below are some of the tasks you will perform on a daily basis:

• Focus on revitalizing the Food and Beverage experience.
• Products and services will be constantly evaluated and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative, and in compliance with Six Senses' wellness and sustainability practices.
• Focus on and regularly review, through my physical presence at all F&B points of sale, our rigorous adherence to LQA standards.
• Full responsibility for the efficient operation of the F&B department, in order to provide exceptional products and services within the brand's operational standards.
• Responsible for an exceptional guest experience in terms of the F&B offering.
• Ensure and review that purchasing practices comply with Six Senses' nutrition and sustainability platform requirements.
• Evaluate and review stocks and storage areas to ensure that all stock is available, stored properly, and in compliance with Six Senses' control and hygiene standards.
• Perform service recovery effectively or charge our hosts for it in the event of guest complaints.
• Lead a team of committed and experienced managers, who manage their own teams daily to ensure exceptional operation and service standards for Six Senses.
• Provide a personalized experience to all our guests and promote a desirable working environment for all our hosts.
• Implement, review, and maintain documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, safety protocols, communications, and product and service standards.

• Implement, review, and maintain host management practices and budgetary controls to ensure the success of the property's operation.
