Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical, Biological or Food Engineering, or similar (mandatory);
Experience in biotechnological processes (bioreactors), laboratory, and semi-industrial processes (preferred);

Nice to have

Experience and passion for working with laboratory techniques in the areas of biological technologies (preferably food microbiology; manipulation of microorganisms; biochemistry; statistical data processing; HACCP; HPLC)
Good computer skills from a user perspective, with advanced Excel proficiency (preferred);
Language proficiency in English;
Driver's License (preferred).

What you'll do

Embedded in the Biotechnology Unit, the collaborator will assume the following responsibilities:

Support the execution of biotechnological, laboratory, and semi-industrial processes, from planning to the analysis of results;
Supervise the execution of R&D activities for biotechnological processes, perform product formulation trials, application of new ingredients, and shelf-life testing;
Ensure technical reporting, critical analysis of results, and updating of Databases. Contribute to innovation in fermentative processes and new biotechnological applications;
Identify opportunities for improvement and propose technical solutions that increase the efficiency and quality of processes.
