What we're looking for
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Technical or higher education in the areas of Automation, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, Robotics or similar;
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal / Step7), HMIs and/or Omron Sysmac Studio;
• Notions of industrial robot programming (KUKA, Fanuc, Mitsubishi or others);
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams;
• Knowledge of industrial networks will be valued;
• IT knowledge from a user perspective.
• Availability for continuous learning and professional development.

The role
What you'll do
Reporting to the Robotics and Automation Manager, this professional will have the following main responsibilities:
• Participate in the development and optimization of industrial automation systems;
• Program, test and support PLCs, HMIs and industrial robots;
• Identify, propose and implement improvements in production processes, tools and equipment, focusing on Safety, Quality, Environment, Productivity and cost reduction;
• Participate in the installation, startup and validation of new industrial equipment;
• Analyze breakdowns and support the resolution of technical problems in automatic equipment;
• Prepare specifications and technical documentation for new equipment and projects;
• Collaborate with the Production, Quality, Safety and Maintenance teams in the continuous improvement of processes.
