What we're looking for

Master's degree in Nutrition, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a similar scientific field;
Professional experience of more than 5 years in scientific and technological research activities and project management;
Experience in the preparation and monitoring of R&D projects and funding applications;
Knowledge of research methodologies, statistical analysis, and data processing;
Knowledge of national and European food regulations applicable to the sector;
Knowledge of product innovation and the transfer of scientific knowledge to business contexts;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with a special focus on Excel;
Good knowledge of English;
High capacity for organization, planning, and priority management;
Critical spirit, scientific curiosity, and analytical capacity;
Ease of communication, teamwork, and relationship building with internal and external partners;
Proactivity and autonomy.

What you'll do

Integrated into the Applied Research area of the Research & Development Directorate, the collaborator will assume the following responsibilities:

Monitor scientific and technological trends relevant to the food sector, identifying opportunities for Sumol Compal;
Participate in the design, development, and monitoring of Applied Research projects;
Collaborate in the preparation of applications for R&D projects and funding programs;
Monitor the technical execution of projects, ensuring the fulfillment of objectives, deadlines, and deliverables;
Prepare technical-scientific reports and ensure the organization and management of project documentation;
Develop and strengthen collaboration with universities, research centers, and other partners in the innovation ecosystem;
Promote the transfer of scientific knowledge to the different areas of the Organization, contributing to innovation and the enhancement of the portfolio; Collaborate on initiatives for the protection and enhancement of research results, including intellectual property;
Support the technical coordination of the Applied Research team's activities, promoting the sharing of knowledge and best practices.
