We are looking for a TRANSPORT TEAM LEADER for our LOGISTICS team in MAIA and we believe we will be #betterwithyou

Every day, our Logistics supplies Portugal. Warehouse teams receive products from suppliers and pick orders destined for stores or customers throughout the country. A process that happens quickly, safely, and using advanced technology.

Operational Coordination: ensure that the traffic team's processes are being followed, ensuring efficiency and responsiveness to operational needs.

Resource coordination and management of leadership: work together with the other leaders, in order to guarantee the existence of the resources necessary to fulfill the plan and ensuring the achievement of service levels;

Dealing with different stakeholders: you will deal with different leaders, in addition to contacting other sectors of the organization, drivers, and dealing with dispute situations from carriers.

Performing Human Resources management and indicator processes: in accordance with what is in effect in the company for the entire team, in addition to managing cost indicators (efficiency) and SL (effectiveness).

Knowledge of continuous improvement: you will have an important role in participating in projects involving logistics operations, collaborating in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement actions.

Educational Qualifications: We value higher education in the areas of Management or Logistics;
Empathy: You will be working with a new team and your ability to understand and connect with colleagues will be essential to building relationships of trust;
Previous experience in operational team management, preferably in a logistics environment;
Strong analytical capacity: Reading, interpreting, and presenting performance indicators (KPIs);
Strong resilience and ability to act under pressure, in dynamic and demanding environments;
Availability: Our warehouses operate continuously, in three work shifts, so availability for different schedules is essential;
Knowledge of continuous improvement (preferred).
