What we're looking for

1-4 years of professional experience, ideally in data analysis, consulting, or another data-driven context;
Academic background in a quantitative or analytical field, such as Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Management, or similar;
Strong analytical skills and experience in hands-on data analysis;
Comfortable using SQL and/or Python to explore, manipulate, and analyze data;
Strong critical thinking and curiosity, with the ability to structure complex problems, question assumptions, and identify relevant insights;
A business-oriented mindset, with the ability to transform analytical results into clear conclusions and recommendations;
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders across the organization;

Nice to have

Experience in retail, pricing, promotions, or commercial analysis will be valued, but is not mandatory;
Experience with PowerPoint and data visualization tools is also not mandatory, but will be considered an asset.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our CoE Value team, in Matosinhos and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

Within the scope of our Center of Excellence in Value, our mission is to support and challenge the business in strengthening our value proposition and positively influence how customers perceive value. We combine data, market insights, and business insights to identify opportunities and support better decision-making, particularly around pricing, promotions, and other key elements of our value proposition.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong analytical skills to join our team. This role is at the intersection of data analysis, business strategy and internal consulting, transforming complex business questions into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

You will have the opportunity to work with different areas of the organization, being exposed to a wide variety of business topics and different senior stakeholders. This experience will allow you to develop a comprehensive view of the business and contribute to relevant strategic discussions.

What you'll do

Use analytical tools such as SQL and Python to explore, manipulate, and analyze data;
Analyze large and diverse datasets to answer relevant business questions and generate actionable insights;
Structure ambiguous business problems, define hypotheses, and determine the analyses necessary to reach robust conclusions;
Combine different information sources to identify patterns, trends, risks, and opportunities;
Transform complex analytical results into clear business conclusions and recommendations;
Question existing assumptions and ways of thinking through fact-based analysis;
Collaborate with different teams across the organization on relevant business and strategic topics.
