What does it mean to be a Quality Engineer?

- Ensure that production processes and products meet customer requirements, technical specifications, regulatory standards, and internal procedures

- Participate in the development of new products, contributing to the definition of robust and quality-oriented processes

- Guarantee that production and inspection activities are aligned with the defined drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria

- Manage customer complaints, promoting root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective actions

- Monitor key quality performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement

- Issue and follow up on First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements

- Elaborate Control Plans and collaborate in the construction and updating of PFMEA

- Develop and maintain Quality Plans to support production processes

- Ensure that verification and inspection instructions are aligned with customer requirements and applicable standards

- Support the management and maintenance of certifications and quality systems in production processes

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent field.

- Professional experience between 5 and 7 years in roles in the Quality area

- Knowledge of statistics applied to quality

- Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and knowledge of SAP

- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (preferred)

- Analytical capacity, critical thinking, and problem solving

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Orientation towards results and continuous improvement

- Experience in managing customer complaints and following up on corrective actions

- Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI)

- Experience in the elaboration of Control Plans, Quality Plans, and PFMEA

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards

- Experience in industrial environments with high quality standards and technical requirements

- Knowledge of certifications and quality management systems
