Requirements

What we're looking for

  • skills

    • Degree in Civil Engineering;

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field;

    • Knowledge of structural calculation software (Robot/Idea Statica - Preferable);

    • Knowledge of current standards, namely Eurocodes and their respective national annexes;

    • Knowledge of BIM and 3D modeling software (Tekla Structures - preferable);

    • Good communication and teamwork skills;

    • Oral comprehension and written production in English and French (preferable);

The role

Our client is a leading company operating in the design and execution of metallic solutions for construction and, as part of its growth, intends to strengthen its team with a Steel Structure Design Engineer for Santarém or Lisbon.

What you'll do

    This professional's main responsibilities will be



    • Developing the calculation and sizing of metal structures, using your knowledge of the Eurocodes and FEA tools;

    • Preparing all technical documentation (calculation reports, specifications, measurement tables) and preparing the files for production;

    • Monitoring the modelling and detailing of the project.
