Machine Setter (m/f/x)

Randstad Recursos Humanos S.A. is recruiting, for its client company based in the municipality of Viana do Castelo, a Machine Setter (f/m/x). This is your opportunity to grow!

• key responsibilities

  Proceed with the preparation and adjustment of production machines/equipment and tool changes, taking into account the
  production objectives and the technical specificities of process engineering, in order to guarantee quality, the
  maximum efficiency of the equipment, and cost reduction.

  
  

  Proceed with the performance of equipment and machine setups, taking into account production needs, the efficiency of the
  machines, and the production process;
  Perform control of the first pieces produced, taking into account the required technical and quality parameters, in order to
  guarantee the correct functioning of the machines and efficiency of operations;
  Make corrections to equipment programs (CNC, Robot, Laser, etc.), taking into account the technical specifications of the
  processes and the required quality standards, whenever these arise from normal work issues (wear, tool
  changes, part batch changes, etc.), in order to guarantee part conformity and production objectives;

  
  

  Collaborate with the process team in performing trials and samples of new products and/or in the implementation/alteration
  of existing processes, in order to ensure the feasibility of new parts and the efficiency of the defined processes;
  Ensure compliance with the specifications defined by the process and report whenever they are outside the
  pre-established requirements to your team leader and to process engineering;
