The role
What you'll do
- Identify mechanical anomalies and discover their causes with support from technical manuals and the correct use of diagnostic tools;
- Identify components, parts, and materials necessary for repair, through correct referencing by consulting manufacturer parts catalogs and manuals;
- Execute tasks necessary to maintain or restore the operating state of equipment, such as the repair of internal combustion engines, transmissions, and/or the replacement of damaged and worn parts.
Skills Profile
- 9th grade of schooling;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic in construction and public works equipment, such as: Caterpillar, Komatsu, or Volvo.
- Knowledge of oil-hydraulics, reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics;
- Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics;
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines, fuel systems, and cooling systems;
- Basic knowledge of automotive electricity;
- Basic knowledge of metalworking and lubricants;
- Sense of responsibility and proactivity;
- Punctuality and attendance;
- Immediate availability.
