As Assistant Manager, you will work side by side with the Store Manager to lead the team and ensure an exceptional shopping experience in the store. You will be responsible for driving sales and optimizing commercial performance through strategic planning and impeccable execution in all areas.

You will ensure that stock is always available and well-managed to meet customer needs, also supervising the visual presentation of products to create an attractive environment. Additionally, you will collaborate on task and schedule planning so that people are always in the right place at the right time. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will assume their role, effectively leading the daily operations of the store.

Regarding the team, you will be an example to follow. You will train, motivate, and develop Primark colleagues so they reach their full potential, fostering a culture of learning, recognition, and continuous improvement. You will also ensure compliance with policies and procedures, looking after safety and promoting ethical and sustainable values within the Primark Cares strategic framework.

We want someone with strong leadership skills and experience in team management, especially in dynamic and high-volume operational environments. We look for people who know how to inspire, motivate, and develop talent, fostering a culture of commitment and high performance.

Your commercial vision will be fundamental, as will the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and make strategic decisions to exceed sales objectives. It is important that you have excellent organizational and planning skills, being able to manage complex situations effectively and with a decisive and resilient attitude.

We also value the ability to communicate clearly and inspiritingly, building positive relationships with the team and ensuring a constant flow of information. Previous experience in a similar position will be fundamental.

For this position, we will positively value if you have completed your university studies in Business Administration, Marketing and Market Research, Trade and Marketing, MBA (or similar).
