Senior Application Support Engineer (L3) Alfragide

• Analyze and resolve production incidents (L3), focusing on ensuring they are correctly diagnosed (root cause)
• Good understanding of application/functional architectures: analyze functional documentation, understand business flows and rules, follow a transaction through various components of the architecture
• Investigate complex problems through log analysis, databases, and metrics
• Proactively define relevant metrics for early problem detection and identify recurring failure patterns by proposing preventive measures
• Collaborate with development teams on the structural resolution of problems

• Professional experience in the above role of more than 4 years
• Comfort with Linux shell (e.g., grep, awk, sed, sort, uniq, tail, ps, top,...), filesystem navigation and manipulation
• SQL DML (e.g., select, joins, subqueries, …).
• Good communication skills with clarity and structured logical reasoning
• Excellent learning capacity, technical analysis, and adaptation to change
• Critical thinking and spirit and orientation towards prevention
• Responsibility, autonomy, and perseverance
• Excellent teamwork capacity and collaboration with other teams
• Ability to document and share knowledge

Work regime: hybrid, 3x per week in the office
