Requirements
What we're looking for
- Higher academic education in Food Engineering, Quality Control, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a similar field.
- Previous professional experience in similar roles, preferably in logistics, food distribution, or the hospitality industry.
- Solid and consolidated knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, IFS, BRC, or ISO 22000 frameworks) and applicable OHS legislation.
Nice to have
- Certification as a Senior Occupational Safety Technician (CAP/Professional Title level VI) will be valued.
Pay & benefits
What you'll get
- Base salary €1030 + Meal Allowance €9.50/day.
- Working hours from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00.
The role
A Job&Talent powered by Multitempo is recruiting a Quality and Safety Technician for a leading company in the food distribution and supply sector located in São Julião do Tojal, Loures.
What you'll do
- Monitor and verify the receipt of goods;
- Control temperatures, transport conditions, labeling, expiration dates, and product compliance;
- Perform traceability checks by sampling;
- Carry out hygiene and sanitation inspections of the facilities and storage areas;
- Monitor product destruction processes and returns to suppliers;
- Identify, record, and monitor non-conformities;
- Ensure compliance with internal Quality and Food Safety procedures.
Requirements
- Residence in the Loures area or surrounding areas and availability to start duties with schedule flexibility.
