Randstad is recruiting a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician - Level VI for a client company, a reference in the national and international market, operating in the Solar Photovoltaic sector.

  This professional will have the following main responsibilities:

  
  
  
  
  • Monitor daily health and safety conditions at the construction site;
  
  
  • Verify compliance with the measures provided for in the Health and Safety Plan (HSP) and internal procedures;
  
  
  • Perform safety inspections and internal audits, and identify non-conformities;
  
  
  • Prepare and update safety reports, inspection records, and corrective action plans;
  
  
  • Control documentation for subcontractors, independent workers, and work equipment;
  
  
  • Participate in the implementation of preventive measures and in coordination between subcontractors;
  
  
  • Conduct safety briefings and internal training, and welcome new workers to the site;
  
  
  • Manage emergencies, monitor incidents, and investigate occupational accidents;
  
  
  • Verify compliance with site organization rules, circulation, signage, and collective protection equipment (CPE);
  
  
  • Promote a safety culture, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and best practices;
  
  
  • Execute environmental inspections on site, in accordance with monitoring plans and applicable legal requirements;
  
  
  • Verify compliance with environmental procedures and best practices defined for different specialties - mechanical;
  
  
  • Fill in the respective environmental control plans and checklists based on the verifications performed;
  
  
  • Supervise the correct implementation of the measures provided for in the Site Environmental Management Plan (SEMP) and the C&D Waste Prevention and Management Plan (WPPMP);
  
  
  • Support environmental document management (Safety Data Sheets, reports, photographic evidence, etc.);
  
  
  • Prepare environmental performance reports, indicators, and non-conformities;
  
  
  • Raise awareness and provide environmental training to workers on site;
  
  
  • Monitor environmental emergency situations and participate in incident investigations;
  
  
  • Execute procedures, assess risks, and manage the implementation of preventive and mitigating measures.
