What we're looking for

Solid experience in managing programs or complex technological transformation projects in the banking sector.
Experience in initiatives involving critical banking systems, preferably Core Banking.
Proven experience in coordinating multiple teams, suppliers, and business and technology stakeholders.
Strong command of integrated planning, dependency management, risks, changes, and execution tracking.
Ability to manage senior stakeholders and conduct demanding meetings.
Autonomy to structure work, define priorities, and resolve problems within their scope of responsibility.
High rigor in information preparation, situation analysis, and commitment management.
Leadership, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
Fluent Portuguese and advanced English, oral and written.
Availability for international travel.

Nice to have

Knowledge of the Angolan banking sector and its operational reality.
Knowledge of Core Banking solutions, namely BANKA and/or Finastra Essence.
Experience in initiatives involving integrations, payments, cards, or treasury.
Experience in the preparation and go-live of critical banking systems.
Relevant certifications, such as PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2.
Experience with Asana or equivalent management tools.

The role

What you'll do

Ensure integrated program management, aligning scope, planning, resources, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
Act as the primary management interlocutor with the client, building a relationship of trust and ensuring clear and well-founded communication.
Coordinate leads from different workstreams, internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
Build and maintain integrated plans, with clearly defined milestones, critical path, completion criteria, and responsibilities.
Follow up on topics with sufficient depth to identify deviations, question assumptions, and promote solutions.
Manage risks, issues, and scope changes, ensuring mitigation measures and timely escalations.
Prepare and conduct follow-up meetings and management committees, presenting reliable and decision-oriented information.
Ensure the follow-up of decisions and commitments until their closure, with defined owners and deadlines.
Articulate implementation, integration, testing, operational readiness, and go-live activities.
Ensure management discipline, quality of deliverables, and traceability of information in tracking tools.
