The role
We are DIGI, a Telecommunications Company new to the Portuguese market, with more than 30 years of history, present in several European countries.
We are looking for talent who want to build a success story with us in Portugal.
In this growth perspective, we intend to hire a Safety Technician to perform, among others inherent to the role, the following activities:
What you'll do
- Ensure that safety standards are implemented and complied with by employees, as well as mitigate potential risks existing at the workplace;
- Management of the internal safety training process for employees;
- Conducting training actions;
- Safety coordination on-site;
- Implementation of building self-protection measures;
- Monitoring employees in the field, ensuring compliance with all safety conditions, namely in work on ducts and poles, as well as in telecommunications stations (towers and rooftops);
- Preparation of Risk Assessment Sheets and Health and Safety Plans;
- Preparation of Safety reports and Risk Assessments;
- Preparation of detailed occupational accident reports;
- Management of the PPE required for each function;
- Periodic verification of PPE

- Good interpersonal relationships;
- Resilience and the ability to work with tight and simultaneous deadlines;
- Critical spirit and willingness to contribute to the solution;
- Ability to work with autonomy;
- High capacity to work with challenging objectives.
- Availability for travel within the national territory.
