SEO and GEO Specialist

We are DIGI, a telecommunications company with over 30 years of history, present in several European countries and growing strongly in the Portuguese market.

We are looking for talent who want to grow with us and actively contribute to the development of the digital channel in Portugal.

As part of the expansion of the Digital Channel team, we intend to hire an SEO and GEO Specialist to join our team. This role will have the mission of increasing DIGI's organic visibility both in traditional search engines and in responses generated by artificial intelligence.

• Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing or similar areas
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEO
• Practical knowledge of analysis and SEO tools, namely:
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
• Google Search Console
• SEMrush
• Google Tag Manager
• Knowledge of Looker Studio for data visualization and analysis
• Knowledge of on-page SEO, basic technical SEO and link building
• Knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), valued
• Ability to analyze brand presence, content and sources cited in AI responses, such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
• Ability to interpret user behavior data, business metrics and performance in AI searches
• Knowledge of Inbound Marketing (valued)
• Organization, team spirit and proactivity

• Extract, analyze and interpret data from analysis and SEO tools, including GA4, Search Console and SEMrush
• Create dashboards and reports in Looker Studio to monitor organic performance, visibility in traditional searches and presence in AI-generated responses
• Analyze results of tests and experiments, including A/B tests and content optimization initiatives
• Develop and execute SEO and GEO strategies aligned with DIGI's business objectives
• Identify opportunities for keywords, topics, questions and prompts relevant to customers and the telecommunications market
• Optimize existing content and support the creation of new digital content, focusing on search intent, topical authority, clarity and potential for citation in AI responses
• Collaborate with Content, Web, Product and Digital Channel teams in the implementation of SEO, GEO and AEO best practices
• Monitor brand and content visibility in AI Overviews, search chatbots and other LLM-powered experiences
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the website's organic performance and to the reinforcement of the brand's digital authority
