The role

Chemical Production and Water Treatment Technician (m/f/x)

This position involves the daily execution of activities related to the production and distribution of internal supply systems, including polyethylene glycol (PEG), purified and ultrafiltered water, purified and non-purified steam, as well as chemicals.

What you'll do

Develop a deep knowledge of the processes and equipment integrated into the supply system.
Execute assigned tasks (production, analysis, maintenance, among others).
Ensure batch production and the necessary records in the production of polyethylene glycol (PEG).
Perform sampling of produced products according to the plan.
Record all process information according to internal guidelines.
Ensure the supply of purified and ultrafiltered water, purified and non-purified steam, and chemicals.
Handling of raw materials, chemicals, and other relevant products.
Monitor all related activities and maintain a record according to established processes.
Support quality in activities related to established processes.
Propose improvements to increase efficiency and safety.
Participate in all relevant meetings.
Keep production rooms and other facilities organized.
Perform work according to the provided guidelines.
Notify the manager of any difficulties in understanding or following guidelines.
Notify deviations or anomalies in the systems.
Take responsibility for the safety aspects identified for the assigned role.
Support a positive safety, health, and environment culture.

Knowledge, abilities, and skills

Ability to work in an industrial environment and in cleanrooms.
Motivation and interest in improving processes.
Good communication skills.
Must work well in a team and be adaptable/flexible.
Attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
Knowledge of GMP and GLP.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical capacity to work and handle heavy raw material packaging (in compliance with safety, health, and environment procedures)
