- Bachelor's degree in accounting

- Registration with the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (preferred)

- Solid knowledge of general and analytical accounting

- Experience with industrial accounting (preferably in the automotive sector)

- Proficiency in SAP

- Knowledge of Portuguese taxation

- Advanced Excel (data analysis and reporting)

- Fluency in English is mandatory

What is it like to be an Accounting Technician?

What you'll do

- Perform the recording of accounting transactions

- Classify and post documents according to the SNC

- Ensure the correct imputation of costs by cost center

- Monitor and control production costs (raw materials, labor, indirect costs)

- Support the calculation of the final product cost

- Monitor inventories and their respective valuation

- Perform periodic bank reconciliations

- Verify current account balances (customers and suppliers)

- Identify and correct accounting discrepancies

- Prepare tax returns (VAT, Model 22, IES, withholding tax, among others)

- Ensure compliance with tax and legal deadlines

- Support tax audits

- Participate in monthly and annual closings

- Prepare supporting schedules (accruals, deferrals, provisions)

- Support the preparation of the balance sheet and income statement

- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits

- Ensure traceability and documentary organization
