Accounting Technician

• Ensure the organization, classification, and accounting recording of the company's documents and operations, guaranteeing compliance with current accounting and tax standards.

• Perform bank reconciliations and verifications of customer and supplier current accounts and other balance sheet and income statement accounts.

• Monitor and control accounts payable and receivable, ensuring the correct updating of balances and compliance with payment and receipt deadlines.

• Prepare and analyze accounting and financial information to support management.

• Ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations, namely regarding VAT, withholding tax, IRC Model 22, IES, and other applicable obligations.

• Support the monthly and annual closing processes of accounts, ensuring the reliability and consistency of financial information.

• Collaborate in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and management support reports.

• Ensure the organization and filing of accounting and tax documentation, guaranteeing its traceability.

• Ensure the preparation of accounting documentation for internal and external audit processes and accompany the respective visits from auditors.

• Support the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and processes, promoting the efficiency and reliability of information.

• Collaborate in the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost control.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or a similar field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting roles.

• Experience using accounting software and ERP.

• Experience with MES and MRP systems is valued.

• Solid knowledge of the Accounting Standardization System (SNC) and Portuguese tax legislation.

• Registration with the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC) is valued.

• Experience in a corporate context is valued.

• Proficiency in Office tools, especially Excel.
