Software Engineer - Distributed Systems and Cloud

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - or proven equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 to 6 years of solid experience in backend software development and distributed systems design.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, or Python, with proven experience in high-availability system architectures.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud), containers and Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and DevOps/GitOps practices.
• Experience with messaging systems and asynchronous processing, relational and analytical databases, APIs, and authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Full-stack vision and comfort with the open source ecosystem, with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies autonomously and quickly.
• Ability to communicate clearly in technical and non-technical contexts, contributing to a culture of collaborative engineering and continuous improvement.

In order to meet business needs, we intend to strengthen our Digital Delivery team with a Software Engineering Specialist - Distributed Systems and Cloud.

• Design, develop, and evolve high-scale and mission-critical distributed systems, as well as cloud and open source platforms - whether existing or new.
• Define and apply architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven systems, APIs), creating shared and reusable libraries and components across teams and products.
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure as code and the respective CI/CD pipelines, focusing on automation, security, resilience, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure the operation, observability, and reliability of systems in production, participating in the resolution of complex incidents and continuous improvement.
• Technically lead end-to-end initiatives - from design to delivery -, evaluating and introducing new technologies and open source solutions suitable to the organization's context.
• Share knowledge and elevate the technical quality of the teams through code reviews, documentation, mentoring, and active contribution to engineering best practices.
