Data Engineer | Lisbon

• Approximately 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineer/data modeling roles, with a focus on building information models to meet business requirements;
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (mandatory), with experience in building and optimizing complex queries;
• Experience in data modeling and in creating information structures oriented towards KPIs and business metrics;
• Ability to work both with business teams and with IT teams, translating KPIs and requirements into technical solutions and, conversely, explaining technical solutions in business language;

• We value know-how in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, dbt, Astronomer/Airflow, and data governance tools such as Collibra;

In the Marketing & Sales area, data is the foundation of the decisions we make: from defining offers and campaigns to managing customer relationships. We want to strengthen our ability to transform data into robust, reliable, and useful information products for the business. We are looking for a Data Engineer, with a focus on data modeling, building information models, and managing KPIs and business indicators.

• Dialogue with business teams to collect and detail requirements, support the definition and management of KPIs and business indicators, and ensure that these translate into consistent data products;
• Coordinate and evolve the core information models of the Marketing & Sales area, namely CRM and Offer, ensuring alignment with business needs and data management best practices;
• Develop and maintain data models and pipelines in SQL, working with different technologies and environments (for example, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, dbt, Oracle, SQL Server);
• Participate in the orchestration of data processes, using tools such as Astronomer/Airflow, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability;
• Contribute to data governance in the area, in coordination with tools such as Collibra, ensuring quality, consistency, and documentation of information models;
• Work closely with business and IT teams, translating requirements into SQL and SQL into business arguments, and ensuring that data products respond clearly and actionably to the teams' questions.
