Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Electrical Engineering - preferred;
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in estimating roles;
Technical knowledge of generator sets, power systems, or electromechanical equipment;
Knowledge of inquiry processes, cost analysis, and the preparation of technical-commercial proposals - preferred;
IT knowledge - user level;
Strong analytical capacity and attention to detail;
Orientation towards results and profitability;
Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

We are looking for an Estimator, for the Generators sector, to join the Trucks and Buses - Volvo Trucks team, in Porto.

What you'll do

Analyze quotation requests and tender specifications;
Dimension generator sets according to customer needs and technical project requirements;
Prepare budgets and commercial proposals for the sale, installation, and maintenance of generator sets;
Request and analyze proposals from suppliers and subcontractors;
Define needs for accessories, electrical panels, fuel tanks, soundproofing systems, and other associated components;
Perform calculations for power, consumption, autonomy, and technical feasibility of the proposed solutions;
Collaborate with the Sales and After-Sales teams;
Ensure compliance with applicable technical, regulatory, and legal requirements.
