Network Engineer - Lisbon

• Design, implement, and operate IT and OT network infrastructure in offices and production sites, from Purdue Level 3 to the boundary with industrial control systems;
• Manage and optimize Fortinet firewalls in IT and Palo Alto in OT, including rules, segmentation, and industrial DMZ;
• Operate Cisco Catalyst switching and Meraki wireless;
• Implement and maintain secure remote access for employees and vendors, including Zero Trust;
• Implement and operate Nozomi Networks for OT asset visibility and threat detection;
• Integrate network and OT logs with Microsoft Sentinel;
• Support incident response with the security team and the managed SOC;
• Contribute to NIS2 compliance activities.

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, including hands-on responsibility for enterprise firewalls;
• Solid experience with Fortinet FortiGate or Palo Alto Networks, with availability to master the other technology;
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and network security best practices;
• Experience or solid knowledge of OT/industrial network environments, including ICS and SCADA;
• Knowledge of IT/OT segmentation, IEC 62443, Purdue Model, and industrial DMZ design;
• Experience with OT monitoring solutions, preferably Nozomi Networks or alternatives such as Claroty/Dragos;
• Availability to work in office and industrial environments and travel to production sites;
• Professional level English (B2/C1).

• Fortinet FCP (NSE 4+), Palo Alto PCNSE, Cisco CCNP, Nozomi Networks, IEC 62443, or GICSP certifications;
• Experience in the process, energy, chemical, manufacturing sectors, or other industrial contexts;
• Familiarity with NIS2;
• Experience with Zero Trust, specifically Zscaler, and networking in Microsoft Azure;
• Experience with SIEM, preferably Microsoft Sentinel;
• Automation/scripting with Python or Ansible and Git workflows;
• Experience with EPC contractors or automation vendors during facility construction and commissioning.
