The role

A Job&Talent powered by Multitempo is recruiting for the position of Cook, for a company in the Civil Aviation Catering sector in the Lisbon area.

Functions

-Perform the cleaning and sanitization of all designated areas, including kitchens, cafeterias, warehouses, and offices, following established cleaning plans and food safety and hygiene standards.

-Ensure the correct use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and products, looking after their conservation and reporting any anomalies.

-Carry out the collection and sorting of waste, ensuring the proper separation of waste for recycling, in accordance with company guidelines.

-Collaborate actively in the organization and tidying of spaces, contributing to a clean, safe, and pleasant working environment for all employees.

-Execute periodic deep cleaning and disinfection tasks, according to the schedule, paying special attention to high-traffic areas or those with specific hygiene requirements.

-Keep stocks of cleaning products and materials organized, communicating the need for replenishment in a timely manner.

Requirements

-Proven experience in cleaning roles, preferably in catering, restaurant, or hospitality environments, with knowledge of food hygiene specificities.

-Ability to work autonomously and in a team, demonstrating proactivity, responsibility, and attention to detail in the execution of tasks.

-Availability to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, adapting to the operational needs of the company.

-Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, as well as occupational safety and hygiene standards.

-Physical robustness and good endurance capacity to handle the demands of the role, which may involve lifting weights and repetitive movements.

-Sense of organization and discipline, with the ability to follow established instructions and procedures.
