Maintenance Manager - Octant Évora

Ensure the execution of Maintenance for facilities and Equipment, contributing permanently to the objectives of the Hotel Operation, namely Customer Satisfaction, the Reduction of Maintenance and Energy Costs, and increasing the useful life of equipment and facilities.

• Technically responsible for the needs of all functional areas of the Hotel, as well as for the good organization of Maintenance execution;
• Comply with the work guidelines transmitted by the Hotel Director within the scope of the daily Operation of the unit;
• Comply with the work guidelines, of a technical and operational scope, transmitted by the Maintenance Director, mainly for the exercise of Preventive and Curative Maintenance;
• Execute Maintenance - Preventive and Corrective - under a spirit of Proactivity and always assuming, as a priority, the resolution of customer complaints with a focus on reducing response time and reducing costs and waste;
• Organize, coordinate and direct the activity of the resident team (including Gardening);
• Coordinate and ensure the necessary information flows with the Accommodation Department, namely Housekeeping and Food and Beverage.
• Control the expenditure of consumables and maintain eventual stocks;
• Continuously watch over and promote the improvement of Safety and Image, performing specific functions regarding Safety (Self-Protection Measures);
• Ensure the fulfillment of legal obligations in the area of Maintenance/ Facilities;
• Ensure the tidiness and cleanliness of the workshop/ tool room and technical rooms and control the access of people to these rooms;
• Prepare Maintenance records and keep the respective archive organized and updated, including the daily record of activity (also covering Gardens);
• Keep maintenance contract dossiers updated and organized;
• Keep the supplier list updated;
• Validate invoices from external suppliers in coordination with Management;
• Collaborate in the preparation of Operating Procedures for routine tasks;
• Propose to Management the needs for operational resources, defining priorities;
• Liaison with the Maintenance Director for the proper performance of the indicated functions and responsibilities.

• Experience in a similar role, in a leadership position;
• Qualifications as an Operational Technician (in refrigeration, electricity, civil construction, or various installations);
