Customs Ops Support - Dhl Express in Lisbon

The main objective of the Customs Ops Support role is to ensure the correct functioning of customs operational processes associated with the import and export of non-EU shipments, contributing to the efficiency of operations and the satisfaction of our customers.

Main Responsibilities

Perform the reading, identification, and loading of parcels according to established internal procedures;

Perform the checking, movement, and handling of cargo;

Perform the scanning and processing of documentation associated with customs processes;

Ensure the correct monitoring of processes, identifying and reporting any irregularities;

Ensure the control of the customs warehouse and provide support to physical import and export operations;

Contribute to the fluidity, compliance, and effectiveness of daily operations.

To support the integration of the new team member, an initial on-the-job training plan will be provided, offering all the necessary tools for success in the role.

12th grade of schooling (preferred);

Previous experience in operational support and/or cargo handling roles (preferred);

Knowledge of or familiarity with international import and export processes (preferred);

Driver's license and ease of commuting to the Airport;

Knowledge of English (preferred);

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ease of adapting to new computer applications;

Good organizational and time management skills;

Flexibility, availability, and a strong team spirit;

High sense of responsibility, rigor, and orientation towards excellence;

Proactive attitude and a liking for working in a dynamic operational environment.
